Heidi and Lucy have been friends for over 20 years, initially meeting at school before initially heading down different career paths. Prior to Mentorloop, Heidi was the Managing Director of Adage, an online jobs board that was acquired by OneShift in early 2015, whereas Lucy spent several years with tech and development agencies before reconnecting and discussing the initial idea for Mentorloop over a glass of wine. That idea turned into a Mentorloop, which provides mentoring software that enables businesses to match their people into effective mentorships at any scale. Mentorloop was recently accepted into and went through the highly competitive Startmate accelerator program and announced a partnership with the Australian Olympic Committee. The success and growth of Mentorloop has allowed them to raise $1M of funding from a number of investors including Blackbird Ventures, Rampersand and Tempus Partners.
