Hyperboreans - Reunification (preview)

Release date: 10.19.22 Hyperboreans is a project years in the making, a genre-spanning collaboration between TOUCH Samadhi veterans The Fuzz and Herbivore. Playing the role of emissaries from a technologically and socially advanced society, the Hyperboreans combine Goa trance, African house, and drum & bass into a new form of psychedelic, funky dance music. The Reunification EP presents this style with three tracks featuring interweaving melodic riffs atop polyrhythmic percussion and stomping beats, slowed down to a tempo that allows a richer sub bass experience. “Mystai” introduces the concept in an uplifting, hands-in-the-air anthem; “Nirvikalpa Samadhi” flips it with a darker, deeper journey through inner space; and the title track closes out with an atmospheric stomper that could only have been conceptually born from TOUCH Samadhi’s legendary Equinox festival. The first of many Hyperborean releases, the Reunification EP is sure to delight and entrance.
