Hypocrites Anonymous

from The Vine Church Podcast

This morning we had the privilege of welcoming back Michael Fortson to The Vine. Michael is a long-time minister, and the former preacher at The Vine. He and his wife, Dorris also founded Neema Village, a home for abandoned and indigent babies in Arusha, Tanzania. Michael is still a member of our church, despite spending most of his time in Tanzania. But we always appreciate when he returns to share God’s Word with us.Series Description: The Sermon On The Mount is the longest continuous teaching from Jesus that we find in Scripture. Within it Jesus covers a wide range of topics in a challenging, encouraging and at times humorous lesson. The sermon covers so much ground that some of the thoughts may seem disconnected from the others. But there are a couple of common threads that run throughout, tying everything together: Jesus is the fulfillment of the law, and our calling is to lead Kingdom-focused lives in response to that truth. In this sermon, Jesus is painting a picture of what that looks like in the lives of those pursuing “Kingdom Living.” Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
