Hypocritical Purity

The species of man has plodded, pillaged, and eventually plundered this globe we call Earth, for millennia. We take, abuse, and disenfranchise at will. What mankind views as evolutionary advances have been nothing short of catastrophic and genocidal. While priding our progress through time, we slaughtered general opposition of the majority. Even in the instances when man was NOT the majority; was not in fact superior, humans waged war on peace. We’ve given ourselves permission to hate, hurt, & hinder our fellow man, claiming righteousness in the name of the supreme deity we never allow to be almighty. Quite hypocritical, in the light of day… wouldn’t you say?
