In this week’s episode of the Rox Lyfe podcast I got to speak with Wilhelm Lilge (@wilhelmlilge) Wilhelm holds the 60-64 age group world record in HYROX with a time of 1.09 – from his first ever solo race! He is not only an impressive athlete though but has been a coach for much of his life, including many years as a national running coach for the Austrian Athletics Association where he’s worked with many Olympians and world and European championship athletes. Wilhelm is a passionate anti-doping campaigner, and we talk a little about that, as well as his thoughts on training for HYROX, lactate testing, why he thinks Alexander Roncevic can be even faster, and much more.
