I Always Figured That I’d Be a Cool Grandpa

At 51, I sometimes wonder if I’ll ever get the opportunity to be somebody’s grandpa. It’s looking less and less likely. None of my young adult children are in relationships. They’re more focused on their futures. My girls are still in college. One has no interest in dating. My youngest daughter is gay. There would be several extra steps for her to become a mother. Time will tell. And I’m at peace with the idea of not being a grandpa. If it happens in the future, I may be too old to enjoy it. I talk about this in today’s episode.
