I Am Known: God Knows Every Hurt

We are teaching preschoolers and kids the story of Job this week. Job was a good man who loved God, but a lot of bad things happened to Job. He lost his animals, his children, and he became very sick. Job’s friends and his wife all told him to tell God he was sorry for sinning so the bad things would stop happening. But God spoke to Job and his friends and reminded them that He was the One who made and controlled everything. Job realized he did not need to understand why things happened—he could trust that God knew his hurt and cared for him no matter what. Preschoolers and kids will learn from the story of Job that they are never alone or unseen in their hurts.
