I am not a FB Fan!

I really don't want to say this, but I'm going to say it anyway. That is the fact that I'm not a Facebook fan. Here's why. Because we compare ourselves to the things that we see on Facebook. We all do. You know, I want to have as many likes, if I have a post, as anyone else would like to have a bunch of likes when they post something, and we're always looking at the things that are happening in someone else's world. Now, it is a great vehicle for getting information when something's not going well in a family's life. And we can share that they need prayer or whatever. And I'm okay with that. But the other side of Facebook is that we're comparing how wonderful other's lives are to yours. And did you know that when you are comparing yourself to someone else, your life isn't gonna go well, because you're never as good as they are. And you always see their lives as better than yours. That's very damaging to who you are in the inside. So I'm not saying that you shouldn't have Facebook. What I'm saying is, is that let's cautiously look at what we're doing when we're looking at Facebook, and why are we doing that? It's really nothing more than wanting someone to look at me, look what I'm doing. And sometimes that's not reality. Reality is how you're behaving and what you're actually doing in your real day to day life, to have the relationships and improve the things that you want to improve in your life. So let's pay attention to what we're actually doing and not what we want others to see. I love you. I'm Dan Clark.
