Although few were questioned the investigation revolved around the son-in-law Curtis Davis Jr. Curtis, being married to William's stepdaughter at the time was nowhere near the crime scene when the crime happened yet was co-hearsed into taking a plea deal for manslaughter under the duress of threats from the State about charging his wife as well and their baby becoming a ward of the state. Prior to being indicted the state informed Curtis and his lawyer that during the autopsy of the victim, DNA was found under the victims fingernails indicating a struggle. Nine months after taking the plea deal Curtis counsel did a motion requesting Curtis freedom due to the lab reports surfacing excluding Curtis from the crime scene altogether. The State blames the attorney citing the evidence was there for him to use and he did not. So in prison he still sits with the key to his freedom and no lock to stick it in. This is where We the People need to step up and protect our own against this corrupt system called... "The Prison Industrial System"
