I am part 2: The Bread of Life

John 6:35: “Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; he who comes to Me will not hunger, and he who believes in Me will never thirst.” There is a hunger within each person that can only be satisfied by a true and genuine relationship with Jesus. Those who refuse to believe in Jesus live in a state of hunger and thirst that they try to satisfy with other things that the world has to offer. Only in and through Jesus can a person truly be satisfied. It’s in Jesus where we find our Saviour, our Redeemer, and our Provider. In Jesus is how we discover who we are, what we have, and what we can do. When Jesus declared that He is the bread of life, He proclaimed that He is the One who sustains, nourishes, strengthens, and fills us. Similar to how natural food fills our bodies, Jesus fills our spiritual lives, which overflows into our souls (minds and emotions) and our physical bodies.
