"I am the light of the world" - John 8:12

This sermon was originally preached just a couple of days after the passing of Queen Elizabeth II, described by one mourner outside Buckingham Palace as a "guiding light". The description was a fitting one, but points to the fact that we live in a dark and disturbing world. Here we consider the wonderful statement of Jesus, "I am the light of the world".
