I AM The True Vine (Richard Pemberton)

In this message, Richard explores Jesus' declaration—"I am the true vine, and you are the branches" (John 15)—revealing that whilst Israel failed to produce the fruit God desired, Jesus is the faithful vine in whom our hope is found, and through whom His life flows into us. Drawing on John 15 and Galatians 5, Richard shows that spiritual fruitfulness doesn't depend on circumstances going to plan or doors opening the way we hoped; it depends entirely on remaining connected to Jesus, because apart from Him we can do nothing, yet as we remain and walk by the Spirit, His character—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control—begins to grow and become visible in our lives. As you listen, ask yourself: Am I truly remaining in Jesus through every season, whether joyful or painful, and allowing His life to transform my character into a living reflection of Christ?
