Freedom is often treated as having no limits and deciding right and wrong for ourselves. Jesus makes an absolute claim: He is the way, the truth and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him. Yet His authority is not cold control. He gave up His life on the cross to prepare a place for sinners, showing love that bears the cost itself.
