”I AM” w/ Tim Richards - Week 7 - ”I Am The Vine.”

Pastor Tim Richards looks at John 15:1 where Jesus says "I Am the Vine." Sermon Questions:   1.  Jesus described Himself as the true vine.  That implies that there are false vines--things that give the appearance of being a source of life but aren't.  What are some false vines you can identify that people sometimes "abide" in hoping to enrich their lives but finding disappointment?   2.  In John 15:9, Jesus compares His love for us as being similar to His Father's love for Him.  What does that tell you about Jesus' love for you?   3.  Jesus' advice to His disciples was that they should "abide" in His love.  What does that mean?  How do you do that?   4.  Based on Jesus' teaching in this passage, which of these two statements is correct and what difference does it make? A.  God loves me because I will bear fruit. B.  I will bear fruit because God loves me.
