I Believe in Jeus! Really?

Preached 30 July 2023 John 8:31-59 Theme: Really believing in Jesus is demonstrated in your life. Believing, but not really believing. Demonstrated by relying on religion and family history. (see 7:2; for setting: 8:33, 39, 53) Demonstrated by still being slaves to sin. (8:31-34, 40, 44) Demonstrated by rejecting some of the truth Jesus gave them. (8:37, 43, 45-47, 58-59) Demonstrated by ultimately rejecting Jesus. (8:37, 40, 48, 52, 58-59) Believing, really believing. Demonstrated by knowing and continuing in Jesus' word. (8:31, 32, 51, 58) Demonstrated by loving Jesus. (8:42) Demonstrated by being free from slavery to sin. (8:32, 36, 34-37) Demonstrated by doing the works of God. (8:39)
