I Can Smile at My Future

Looking at Psalm 23:6 today, David speaks with confidence of his future reality. "Surely Your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever." What God has to offer is better than any other offer. God's goodness is unlike any goodness we have ever known. His love is steadfast, loyal and constant. The central theme from Genesis to Revelation is that God wants mankind to be with Him where He is. This is His desire. David has set his mind on the reality of another realm. He knew there was something more. His encounters with God in the tabernacle shifted his priority and focus. Let the words of Psalm 23 become a meditation for your prayer life.
