“How can we be lonely with God with us?” That’s a tender, honest question—and the Bible answers it with grace.You’re not wrong to feel lonely sometimes. The psalmists felt it too (Psalm 42; 13), yet they kept bringing their pain to God. God promised, “I will never leave you nor forsake you” (Deuteronomy 31:6; Hebrews 13:5), sent Jesus who knows our suffering (Hebrews 4:15), and gave the Holy Spirit as Helper and Comforter (John 14:16; Romans 8:26).If you feel lonely:* Name it. Pray honestly—God welcomes your real feelings (Psalm 13).* Ask the Spirit to comfort and pray for you (Romans 8:26).* Reach out to someone—God often comes through people (Hebrews 10:24–25).* Stay in God’s Word and small spiritual practices; they help you notice God’s presence.Remember: God is with you even when you don’t feel it.
