I Claudia (Aging in America)

81 year old Claudia Tado is a tour de force. She dances through life marching to the beat of her own drum. Claudia has though me a lot about expressiveness and openness. She is a hurricane of emotions. She is the first to tell you how much she loves you and appreciates your very being but also the first to bark the words, “Get out of the way” when she’s in a hurry. Claudia is refreshingly transparent. This creates a low atmospheric pressure to any environment she enters. Plus it’s quite freeing to be in the company of one with such verbal spontaneity. Claudia is likely to say anything at anytime. This often makes being in her presence quite entertaining. Her use of the English language is often peppered with profanity. So church goers are challenged to listen without prejudice. I enjoyed doing this podcast. I enjoyed listening to Claudia express her tumultuous and yet joyous life experiences. She is openly shares her story with the ease and comfort of talking to close friend. I thank you Claudia for your openness and I thank you for inspiring me to pursue a more passion filled life.
