I disappeared for a year and came back different

from The Elle Diaries · host Elle Beecher Hogan

I'm back. After nearly a year away, I sat down, meditated for 30 minutes, and recorded whatever came through, just like I always have. And wow, did a lot come through! In this reflection: ✨ Why I disappeared and what "the forest" of inner work actually looked like ✨ The $50K salesman story that explains the glass ceiling on my nervous system ✨ How I healed an unhealthy relationship I was too embarrassed to even look at ✨ Why reducing inputs is the only way to increase your outputs ✨ How The Board Walks went from 2 cities to 14 (and where we're going!)This past year was an initiation. Deep inner work, shadow integration, forgiveness practices in the bathtub, nervous system resets. I stepped down from hosting the walks in July 2025. I went off social media entirely. I gave myself the space I'd been refusing to give myself my entire life. And I came into 2026 like a ROCKET.The walks are now in 14 cities. The Friday Debrief newsletter has thousands of readers. The Board is being built. And I feel more like myself than I ever have.If you're in the forest right now,  keep going. This one's for you.Drop a comment and tell me where you are in your journey.
