I don't even know what I want

A topic Alex keeps bringing up simply because he does not know what he wants. Does he want to be single? Does he want a significant other? The people around him have families, partners, or are married. He has none of that. Sad, but of his own doing. He goes on to explain why he is single and what it means to him.
