I Don't Feel Like Feeling Defeated This Morning

Hello Friends,Yeah, it sucks. The Democrats proved once again that the only strategy they believe in is unconditional surrender. Once again, the American people did our part. We took to the streets. We overwhelmingly won elections. We rallied. We cheered. We asked the corporate Democrats to stand with us.Only to watch them pick up a hammer and unceremoniously smash everything we’ve achieved.If only they could muster the same cruelty in opposition of our oppressors. Then they turn to us and give us their weak little “down the nose” smirk, and pretend like it’s not abundantly clear that they only sent Senators who weren’t up for election forward to enact this betrayal.Once again they expect us to forget because that’s what we’ve done over and over and over.What is it they say about doing something again and again and expecting a different result?You know what, screw these guys! We can’t sit here sobbing in our oatmeal. It’s time to start laughing. The reason you feel like sobbing is because you feel hopeless. Well, frankly, I don’t feel hopeless.All it takes to not feel hopeless is to recognize that the corporate Democrats are a bunch of lying, conniving, sniveling cowards. We’re all told all these b******t reasons why it’s “okay” for people to have billions of dollars, and why it’s “okay” for people to go hungry, and why it’s “okay” for our healthcare to bankrupt us.The second you realize all that conditioning is a pack of malicious lies, you give yourself permission to stop believing it.Once you achieve that realization, you can become unapologetically progressive. The simple fact is that we have to stop supporting these feckless cowards in any way, shape, or form. Cut them off. What’s the point in giving any money to them? They just turn around and betray us and smirk anyway.Also, don’t start in with your BS about how it does no good to complain about the Democrats because the Republicans are the “real” problem. Are you kidding me with that nonsense? Remember how we gave the Democrats the presidency the senate and the house in 2020, and they completely and utterly failed to hold the insurrectionists accountable?The Republicans are literally starving us to death and allowing us to bleed out in parking lots, and the Democrats don’t want to hurt their feelings.But if you complain about that, you get swarmed with bots insisting that you’re the problem.Uh-uh.Where do they get the money to deploy those bots? Have you ever noticed that ALL the messaging from the Democratic party is designed to rot the spine of the opposition?Here’s the kicker… WE pay for that. Yup! We pay it by supporting those jerks. All they’re good at is sending “please help me fight” emails. They ask for $20 bucks, then they use it to screw us over, then they take $50 million from their corrupt oligarch overlords, then they laugh at us. On top of all that, if we complain, they have the nerve to say, “Well… you’re part of the problem.”Nope. It’s not me, it’s you.So, yeah, we’re up against a daunting task, but at least a few more people are waking up to the fact that corporate Democrats are just as much fascists as the Republicans.Say it with me.Corporate Democrats are absolutely as corrupt. They do everything they can to stop us from getting health care. They do NOTHING to stop us from being exploited.I realize this means our fight is bigger than we allowed ourselves to believe. But that’s okay. The more people out there who see the truth, the better our chance of mounting a defense.Friends, it has been a year since the corporate Democrats just laid down and allowed a criminal and sex offender to grab the levers of power. But here’s the thing, “We have not even begun to fight!”The silver lining is that this fascist takeover is completely incompetent. In fact, they’re so incompetent they highlight how incompetent the feckless Democrats really are. It’s like the Republicans are trying to use pudding to hammer a nail in the wall, and the Democrats have no idea how to stop them.At some point, the rational people have to say, “Enough is enough!” and allow common sense to take over.Vote all these a******s out. Stop giving them money. But most of all, stop repeating their damn lies. Again, I keep telling all of you, the Democratic party has to stop trying to rehab the image of failed Republicans. We don’t want to listen to Adam Kinzinger, and MTG, and Liz Cheney. Those are saboteurs who are presenting themselves as friends.We want to listen to bold voices with new ideas like David Hogg, Zohran Mamdani, and Alexandria Ocasio Cortez.Every single time the Democrats betray us, a few more people become open to hearing the truth that the Democrats are just as much a party of oppression as the Republicans. Will Fullwood has been telling me that we need a third party, and he’s right. I’m as guilty as anyone else in that I’ve been trying to reform the Democrats. How many times do they have to betray us for us to recognize that they are not working for us?People feel sad because they are betrayed. You feel betrayed because the people you trusted did not meet your expectation.I feel less betrayed this time because I EXPECTED the worthless corporate Democrats to betray us.Now, the next thing is that none of you should feel any obligation to defend them. Don’t succumb to their bot messaging about how this action wasn’t a complete and utter failure. There’s no “secret strategy.” Their only objective is to f**k us over and over and over.So, stop sending them money. Support independent candidates. Primary corporate Democrats wherever you can. We’re only a few months away from the primaries. Once the holidays are over, we’ll be entering the most contentious midterm election that I have seen in my lifetime.Honestly, I think the primaries are more important than the midterms themselves. If we could get 30% of the population to participate in the primaries, the establishment politicians would s**t their pants. The idea of that makes me laugh.So, I refuse to feel morose this morning. I also refuse to support anyone who repeatedly betrays me. Corporate Democrats are liars. Republicans are liars. The only people I support are the women and men who demand universal healthcare and who stand for the progressive promise.It’s time for everyone else to make a choice. Do you want to stick with politics as usual and feel miserable and betrayed all the time?
