I Don't Have Time For This (10% Happier Self Care Journey) 1/7/20 • Whether you have 30 seconds, 1 min., 5 min or and hour you DO have time to meditate. • Applying deep breathing, scanning the body and being mindful in ANY capacity IS self care. • Having the right attitude is half of the equation. Don't overthink the process and just practice being with the practices. • Being Intentional makes all the difference in the world. • Don't worry about not feeling that you're "good" at it. The idea is to be gentle, be with your body and breath and refocus if you get distracted using "noting". • There are many other places where over analyzing is useful. Meditation is not one of them. Just relax, be gentle with yourself and let go......even if only for 30 seconds.
