I Don't See Em ( DJ Mickey Remix)

from DJ MKY · host DJ MKY

From humble beginnings as an actor and dancer to the decks of some of Australia’s most renowned clubs and events, DJ MKY has officially landed, smack-bang, centre stage… and it’s only the beginning. Given his debut at long-running Sydney mega party Daywash and being a finalist in the Mardi Gras Spin-Off Competition, he was soon to be snapped up by some of Australia’s hottest clubs including The Shift, ARQ Sydney, Columbian and Nevermind not only for his “hands-in-the-air” musical style, but for the energy that explodes from him when he gets behind the decks and takes control of the dancefloor. Finding his true calling as a naturally talented DJ with a music, dance and theatre background, he combines decades of performing for audiences, with his outstanding party-boy and gogo dancing experience, to achieve a sound that takes the dancefloor on a journey through what they think they want, what they truly want and what they didn’t even know existed. A fat sound, with meaty vocals combining pop, urban and soul with a house sound that sometimes gets just a little dirty. Not a stranger to the sweaty, heaving dancefloors of the southern hermisphere, Mickey skillfully crafts each performance tailored to each crowd individually. From classic T-dance house music and deep house to high energy circuit beats native to big rooms and arena’s in Barcelona, Mykonos and Ibiza, DJ Mickey’s versatility is often underestimated. Clubs, brands and event promoters can’t get enough of him having already played official parties for Grindr, Daywash (SYD), Zoo Dayclub (SYD) and Ignite Party (WOL), The Court (PER), Higher (SYD) and headlining FNQ Magazine’s Admit Love Party (CNS) – as well as gracing the cover of the magazine in June. 2016 is set to be even bigger with Mickey gracing the arena decks for BLOW – Sydney Mardi Gras Official underwear party and and toured North America for Pride season in 2016 with 2017 already going off Mickey plays for Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras 2017 Main Event.
