I don't want to freak you out.

Bless your hearts that want to share with and encourage others.  If you are hesitant, you are absolutely not alone.  You don't want to freak people out.  On the flip side, you don't want to miss an opportunity to encourage someone.  Reminds me of the time Rick shared on seeing a mutual friend of his wife's.  They small talked and one week later that guy died.  Rick regretted/wondered if should have share more/offer prayer.  I feel him.  Personally, I've missed many opportunities by being in a hurry or chickening out.  When in doubt, pray, serve them in love, then ask.  If they are ready, be ready.    If they are not ready, respect that.  Repeat above.  Hard not to respect someone that repeatedly loves and cares for you.  On the flip side, easy for one to resent someone that is trying to force feed, Bible bang, judge and condescend.  Look up, not down.
