I Endorsed Jasmine Crockett and Got Eviscerated by Blue MAGA

Democrats can no longer be content to support candidates that are more interested in appealing to Republicans than listening to their own base. Bible thumping James Talarico is a perfect example. If he wants to quote the King James with every other word, he should be running as a Republican.As it is, we appear to have another Republican in Democrat clothing attempting to push the whole party to the right. Meanwhile, our deranged president is launching illegal terrorist attack after illegal terrorist attack both on foreign soil and in US cities. Both parties have reached record lows for their popularity levels. Maybe we should stop parroting the absurd belief that we must “appeal to moderates” and instead address the fact that Americans are sick and tired of homelessness, starvation, poverty, and exploitation.When you take a step back and look at the Texas primary for the Senate, it becomes clear that we shouldn’t even be talking about James Talarico. If he weren’t a white man, nobody would be taking him seriously at all.The simple reality is that Jasmine Crockett is far more qualified than Talarico. She’s served in Congress. We’ve seen her defend the American people against the transgressions of a lawless Republican party. She’s a brilliant speaker and she’s shown time and time again that she’s willing to fight for the people.James Talarico is willing to pray.Jasmine Crockett is going to fight.Look around people, we need fighters right now. “Thoughts and prayers” are what got us into this mess.Talarico has served as a state representative, but until a few months ago we didn’t know anything about him. When you stop and think about it, you’ll recognize it makes no sense to hand over the power of a six year Senate term to a relatively unknown quantity. We did that with Fetterman. How did that work out?This is the kind of rational argument that left-leaning people are supposed to embrace, but when I posed this idea on social media yesterday, I was subjected to a tirade of dishonest attacks.“Well, by that logic we should have never voted for Mamdani,” one person said.That particular comment is malicious on many levels. First of all, it’s a false equivalency. Mamdani was a grassroots candidate. Meanwhile, Talarico is being propped up by big money donors. Also, the DNC actively worked against Mamdani, and he won despite their efforts of sabotage.At some point, the American public has to recognize that there are warring factions within the Democratic party. In the congressional race for my district in Wisconsin, Washington is again putting its finger on the scales and dumping a bunch of external money into the race.They do this even though there are state elections where Republicans are running unopposed. Doesn’t logic suggest it makes more sense to find a candidate for an unchallenged seat than create controversy in a robust district?Well, that’s not how the DNC thinks.Again and again they notice when grassroots candidates start gaining momentum. But rather than step forward to help the politicians who have clearly figured out how to speak to the heart of the people, they dump a bunch of money on some mediocre centrist and claim it’s because “he’s more electable.”That’s blue MAGA, and they’re absolutely vicious.When you dig into Talarico, you’ll see that he’s affiliated himself with James Carville. James Carville is the guy who told Obama to take a toke on a crack pipe. In my opinion, that comment is openly racist. If Talarico actually believed in the values he claims to stand for, he should be denouncing Carville, not paying him.The interesting thing is that when blue MAGA comes at me, it’s either made up of fake accounts with no profile picture, or mediocre white people. My belief is that blue MAGA uses donation money to fund bots who attack anyone who asks reasonable questions about their anointed candidates.The fact is, there is a massive control mechanism within the Democratic party that prevents decent people from reaching the levers of power. Blue MAGA loves to attack the voting base, but they conveniently forget that in 2020 the voters gave the Democrats all the power they needed to stop the fascist uprising. They had the presidency, the House, and the Senate.Democrats did nothing, and here we are.Again and again we’ve seen how people like Nancy Pelosi seem more intent on opposing Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez than stopping human rights abuses. Remember that it took Democratic votes to pass the bill that funded ICE. Blue MAGA consists of folks like Clinton, Pelosi, Fetterman, Jeffries, Schumer, Manchin, Sinema and more. They’re only in office to enrich themselves and consolidate power. They’d prefer to lose elections rather than put up a fight because it increases their donation money.From the way Blue MAGA has been piling on Kamala Harris lately, I don’t think they consider her a member of their group. Blue MAGA loves AIPAC money, even though they blame Gaza for the election loss. It’s interesting that men and women who have taken much more genocide money than anyone else are the first to point the finger at others and send their minions online to do the same.The fact of the matter is that Blue MAGA despises progressive candidates because those are the candidates who threaten their financial hierarchy. Pelosi despises Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez not because of her policies, but because of her fundraising. AOC doesn’t need the Democratic party, so she can’t be controlled. That means she can speak her mind.Above all else, Blue MAGA wants compliance. That’s why I call them Blue MAGA, they’re just like the Republicans.Yesterday I had dozens of people attack me with profanities for daring to offer constructive criticism of the Democrats.“Why are you engaging in a circular firing squad?”“It’s the establishment that does that,” I replied. “I’m DENOUNCING the circular firing squad.”But there are too many passive white liberals who have been indoctrinated with the lies of Blue MAGA. “Hey, vote Blue no matter who!” they lecture.“You mean like the way the establishment supported Mamdani?”“Well, I think they learned their lesson.”“Why? Why would you think that? What possible evidence do you have?”The simple fact is that the strategies of establishment democrats have led to loss after loss. They are responsible for all the misery and hardship we have to endure today. Their lies about how “America is not ready for a Black woman” is simply racist propaganda. The fact that they continue to support people like James Carville and white supremacist pro-life politicians is absolutely deplorable.They claim they want a “big tent” but the second I show up they chase after me with baseball bats.Blue MAGA demands obedience, compliance, loyalty, and they won’t listen to any argument that goes against their belief system. They refuse to demand recounts. They promise to show election audits (and then refuse to do so). They fund mediocre white men who challenge brilliant, popular and accomplished Black women, and then they unleash their bots to attack anyone who complains about it.Why?The reason is that Blue MAGA sees progressive, grassroots candidates as a threat to their power. Progressive candidates can fundraise outside of the political system. If enough of them come into power, the consolidation of political financing crumbles into a heap. That means an end of control. That means an end of the lies. That means we can finally bring in a wave of politicians who are more interested in serving the people than their corporate overlords.Yesterday many bots screamed, “We have to defeat MAGA first, then the Democrats can clean house.”But they’re wrong.Blue MAGA is just as much an enemy as Red MAGA. Over the last 10 years, we patiently waited for Blue MAGA to fulfill its promises to us. We gave them all the power they needed in 2020, and they showed us who they are.In the 2024 election, Blue MAGA sabotaged perhaps the most accomplished political candidate in the history of the United States. Blue MAGA absolutely did not want a former prosecutor of child trafficking crimes to control the powers of the presidency. They showed us who they are, and we should believe them.We are not going to obtain a country that works for us until we obliterate MAGA in all its forms and on both sides of the aisle. It’s time to stop funding the Democratic party. They waste your donations on bots to attack progressive candidates. Establishment candidates refuse to go out and talk to real people because they’re afraid of facing the criticisms they deserve to hear.Support candidates that will listen to us. Support candidates that have the support of the people rather than the support of corporate donors.
