I Feel Like I Have to Start Over. What Do I Do?

from AskPat 2.0: A Weekly Coaching Call on Online Business, Blogging, Marketing, and Lifestyle Design

Chapin Kreuter seems really cool. But what happened to him was not cool at all. He’s a traveler, a surfer, and an expat, and he’s got a podcast called Misfits and Rejects for people who hate their nine-to-five, and dream of living far away. He comes into this coaching call, as he says, to “throw [him]self at the mercy of the podcasting court and say, ’Help me please, help me be a better podcaster.’” And it really comes to whether we're going to let a setback mean we start again from scratch or, rather, use it as a pivot point. Hopefully what happened to Chapin doesn't happen to you, but if it does, you'll be better equipped because of listening to this show.If you enjoyed today's episode and you love the format of this show and helping other entrepreneurs, can you help me convince others to listen, too? All you have to do is leave a quick review and rating on Apple Podcasts (and subscribe if you haven't already). That would mean the world to me, so thank you so much!If you have a business, or you know someone who does, you probably know that small business owners wear a lot of hats—we definitely do. Some of those hats are awesome, but some—like filing for taxes and running payroll, for example—aren't as great. That's where Gusto comes in. They make payroll, taxes, and HR easy for small businesses. My team uses it, and we can't live without it. You can get three months free when you run your first payroll.
