from You Don’t Know Anything About Women: Dating Stories and Advice · host Roy Calvin | Dating Advice

Here's who I'm giving REAL dating advice for men to in this episode:- A guy who had a girl tell him she can't meet for 3 months (but don't worry, she's not gonna talk to any other guys before then).- A guy whose girlfriend is having long text conversations with the new guy at work.- A spineless guy that paid everyone's bill when the girl he's been dating brought her friends to their meetup (he needs to grow a pair).- A guy who wants to be eXcLuSiVe with the girl he's seeing and wants to know how to broach the topic.- An obsessive guy that has 87 posters of a Korean idol on his walls and wants to know if girls will think that's a red flag.Subscribe for more Reddit dating stories, dating advice for men, and dating tips.Message me or support the show: https://linktr.ee/roycalvinDating lessons from this episode:Waiting three and a half months for a first date is usually a bad use of your time. If a woman says she cannot meet for months, do not text her every day trying to keep the momentum alive. Ask her on a real date, put the ball in her court, and only check in occasionally if you still want to keep the option open.Do not confuse asking about her “first date policy” with asking her on a date. If you want to meet a woman, ask directly whether she is free on a specific day. Vague conversations about dating expectations are not the same as making a concrete plan. The longer it takes to get a woman on a first date, the lower your chances usually become. A match or phone number loses value the longer it sits without an in-person meeting. If you cannot meet quickly, keep your investment low and do not act like you are committed to someone you have never dated. If your girlfriend is messaging a male coworker too much, you are right to be concerned. Work conversations are one thing, but full conversations about weekends, personal life, and getting to know each other are a problem. A girlfriend should keep it short with men who clearly have non-work intentions.A girlfriend who entertains male attention is creating a problem she will eventually have to deal with. If she keeps engaging a man who is interested in her, the situation can escalate until he asks her out or crosses a line. Cutting it off early is cleaner than letting another man build momentum. If a woman brings three friends on a date and you pay for everyone, you got taken advantage of. A date should not turn into a group outing where you are expected to cover her friends. Do not let a woman put you on the spot financially, and do not pay for people you did not invite.Do not try to teach a woman a lesson by making her jealous. If she brings friends on a date or behaves badly, handle your own situation directly instead of playing games. Ask whether she is bringing friends again, say you want to meet one-on-one, and only pay your own bill if needed.Do not bring up exclusivity with a woman you are dating. If a woman likes you enough, she may naturally stop seeing other men without a formal conversation. Trying to lock her down too directly can make you look needy and may lower her attraction. If she wants exclusivity, let her bring up the conversation. Men should avoid confessing, negotiating, or asking whether she will stop talking to other guys. Keep dating, keep the dynamic vague, and let her raise the relationship label if she wants it.An apartment covered in 87 posters of one celebrity is a dating red flag. A few decorations are one thing, but an obsessive celebrity shrine looks childish, feminine, and strange to women. If you want a better dating life, take the posters down and make your apartment look like an adult man lives there.
