I hit the streets for Juneteenth Street Party | Dyersburg, Tenn NAACP Chapter Interview | The Daily Read w/ Marcus Gentry

When i was involved in the streets heavy i had many stomping grounds, in many states Dyersburg, Tennessee was one of them! I recently took a trip to Memphis and decided to stop through to visit old friends and was invited to a Juneteenth block party promoting small minority businesses. Me not wanting to pass up an opportunity to talk to people in the grass roots of there communities i decided this would be perfect for my Sunday show! believe me people i had a great time and even got a chance to have an interview with the local NAACP Chapter! I new my life was starting to come full circle as i talked to civil rights representatives who lived in one of the towns i used to terrorize as a gang banging youth. i couldn't help to think god i'm so glad i changed my life, most of these people didn't even recognize who i was now that Ive cut my dreads and so many years have passed!
