i like life (remaster)
from fuzzy drainage Hosted by fuzzy drainage
this is an old, old song i wrote a long time ago, and it's pretty dreary, but good. i can't tell the whole story, as it was 10 years ago, and i'm sure i won't do it justice, so i thought i'd add the lyrics below so you can read along if you choose to do so. the main message is that life is precious, and the rest is up to interpretation. here's the lyrics: well, i need life, but it doesn't like me. we can crawl through... these times we face, simply are the human race. what we don't rebuild, and we can't repent not afraid, i lie awake, pausing, my last breath... "where is the test? i'm ready and pressed. tell me where, is the test?" i have the rest. i feel my best. ready, fearless, seems surprising, endless we run... we grow more... i tell ya we run. i tell ya, we grow more. well i need life, but it doesn't like me. we can crawl... through these times we face. we can crawl... we can crawl through these times we face. well i need life, but it doesn't like me.
