This track "I like like you" is a total remake of a song I did back in 2016 for the indie-film "Breathe Easy". I always liked the song, but hated the mix and sound of the original version, and I always thought that was what stopped it from being a bigger hit than it was. This track is pure Van Halen influence throughout, but there's a lot of me in it as well, especially with the under-tones happening in the bridge. The song's title is what it is. It's the melody line of the main guitar riff. When the song opens, and when the riff kicks in you can sing "I like like you" to it. The title as always is indicative of what's happening in my world. I like a lot of people right now. I'm finding myself a bit of a kid in a candy-store at the moment. But I "like like" very few people. I always reminded of one of my favourite movie lines. Not a classic or anything cultured, it's Jackie Chan, so I'm not quoting a great philosopher here, but it's still a good habit to get into. It goes "I like to let people talk, so you can see how full of sh*t they are. If I'm honest it's bloody good advice, it certainly works for me. Enjoy the track, this one was recorded for a reality TV show that I'm a part of right now as music director and co-producer. But thanks to the Coronavirus we've been put on hold. That doesn't mean however that you can't crank up the song... So do that... and I hope you guys "like like it"... cheers...
