I Look To You

from After29 Hosted by Vincent, Clayton, Malcolm and Mosieo

In this episode, we examine the roles of mentors and role models in our our communities. Role models, mentors, big brothers, and big sisters play a vital role in the development of our youth and young adults. Everyone needs someone to look up to. Even as adults, we all have those few people that we admire and look up to. These people influence how we move in this world, how we view this world, how we react to this world. Some of our role models are people we've watched on tv or some other form of media. We also discuss the importance of having role models and mentors. What good is it to have gone through experiences and possess knowledge just to keep it all to yourself? We've found that by not having role models, etc. in our lives can have an adverse effect on our development. Take the time to reach out to someone who could benefit from your life experiences. Let you trials become their triumphs. Let your losses become their victories. Spread love and spread knowledge.
