I Need to Be More of a Goddamn Rule-Breaker
from The Renegade Writer's Mouthy Musings · host The Mouthy Renegade Writer
I pride myself on the fact that I’m generally a solid citizen. I tend to play by the rules. This is especially evident in my work ethic. I show up daily to make the Substack entertaining. And to attempt to fight Traitor Trump and his bullshit fascism. You can’t make waves if you don’t take the boat out every day. I do that shit three times every single day.Two articles and a podcast episode. All dropped around the same time of the day.But lately, I’ve thought about how rigid I am with my work. Perhaps I don’t need to release them at the same time constantly. God forbid I publish one article instead of two. Or skip the podcast for a day. Yeah, not gonna happen. At least for now. We’ve had close to 620 days in a row with a podcast episode. I take pride in that. But I know that I could be a little looser with the rules. Not like Donald Dickless loose. I’m not going to turn to a life of crime like he’s always done.I talk about this in today’s episode. Sorry that it’s a bit late. But I had other things going on earlier. Better late than never. I appreciate you tuning in for it daily.© 2026 The Mouthy Renegade Writer. All rights reserved.Mooch thinks that you all deserve 50% off our paid subscription rate.
