I Never Intended to Become Addicted

Kyle had an knee injury and was prescribed opiates. The doctors never educated him about how addictive the medication is and never helped him taper off. So eventually when the doctors ended his prescription he became so sick with withdrawals he turned to the streets to find the medication. He eventually after 8 years of heavy usage had a heart attack, which led him to sobriety.Resources- RAAM clinic in Brantford
