Good morning everyone. Wish you all a very happy Sunday morning. As you can see from my episodes list in my morning, lengthless morning using podcast, there has been a gap I think what maybe a week or so. Well, I was busy with other family events and experiences, and I said today, the first thing what I'm going to do is first, show up in front of my mirror and do my affirmation.

So here's the thing. I learned affirmations from Luinsie. I talk about her a lot. In fact, way back in 2002 or 2003, I bought two of her books, Meditations to Heal Your Life, and you can heal your life.

Beautiful, beautiful affirmations to model, to write, to say aloud. She even recommends singing affirmations aloud. So I have been writing. I also practice saying it aloud in front of the mirror.

It works like a charm for me. So over the course of time, I started practicing affirmation for someone else. Also, here's how it works. Let's say somebody says that my hand got hurt, or maybe I am whatever, whatever.

Some type of physical, something's even emotional or mental, something, some kind of a challenge. Well, I'm not a doctor, guys. I'm not a psychologist, but I love to learn about human, about how human beings react respond. You can call me kind of like a personal development enthusiast.

So it's not doing affirmations for others, for others, because let's say I tell you, hey, why don't you do this affirmation? It'll really help you. First thing is, if you haven't heard of the word affirmation, and if it hasn't been a part of your lifestyle saying affirmations, you will probably dismiss the entire idea. But at the same time, I'm a good friend.

I love you, and I really want to do from the bottom of my heart, I want to do something good for you, and I want to enrich my relationship with you. So what I thought was, it's just like, right, like our parents say the smallest thing I can do, because I cannot help you in this particular circumstance, because I can pray for you. So I said I can use affirmation as something like, you know, as something like an online or a surrogate, something like that, and I do affirmation for the person, for the event, because Louisa has recommended affirmations for each part of your body. In her book, You Can Heal Your Life, and when it comes to meditation, to heal your life, she has given for each words, each word I would say, like forgiveness, just given an affirmation, a paragraph of affirmation, expectation, a paragraph of affirmation.

So for example, let's say one of my friends said, hey, I signed up for this, I expected this, this didn't happen, and my expectations were not met, so I would just put her name and do an affirmation for the person. And then, you know, a couple of days later, I should say, you know what, I processed this particular experience or treatment in this way. Then I would say, oh my God, it's not that because I did the affirmation for her, it happened, or she was able to process her experience in a better way, in a positive way. It's just that I feel that I have done my job, the smallest service, the smallest service that I could do for her.

Does that make sense? Anyway, let's come back to today's episode. Today's episode is in response to a writing prompt, 30 Day Writing prompt, Day 27. Write about a vacation you took, what made it memorable.

And the title that I have given for this is, I never knew the describing of vacation can be soothing. The subtitle is, I was able to appreciate my ability to describe. Currently, I'm saying this to myself, Lalita, you committed to participate in the 30 Day prompt challenge, and the 30 Day 30 is over. See guys, this is a published article, right?

So we write these in advance. And so even though I'm reading for you, the published article of Day 27, this is something because I finished it or something like that, it's a different thing. So you might wonder, what is she talking about? Be with me.

Go into the content, not the nuances, how it went, because if you focus on those other things, then you won't get my content. Let's move on. Then you committed to participate in a 30 Day prompt challenge, and the 30 is over. You need to rush and complete this 27, 28, 29, and 30, so I'm lagging behind.

That statement is true, and I accept it as it is. So here is the thing, they did not rush us to complete by a certain time or something like that. I think they did give a one week window or something, because guys, this is June 2023, and all these things happened in September 2022. So that statement is true, and I accept it as it is.

As I write this sentence, I feel the integrity of my thoughts serving as a warmup for my writing. Now I'm aware and present to the Day 27 prompt, while setting the intention to keep away from my thoughts, of being rushed, to complete the prompt for Day 29, Day 28, 29, and 30. However, I'm doing that by saying, hey, let's say third person, I go to the third person, hey, let's put those thoughts in our mental lock box. Done, done, guys.

Okay, coming back to the prompt. Write about a vacation you took. What made it memorable? As I'm excited to write about my vacation to Cancun, Mexico, I am stimulating my brain to ask the perfect questions for answering the question, what made it memorable?

First, I had an intense desire to visit Cancun, Mexico, as it was announced as one of the prices by my company for reaching a certain milestone. I did not get the price, I did not get the price. However, after some time, I ended up qualifying for a free trip through a vacation program, my husband, with my husband, that too during my birthday month. Wonderful, right?

Okay, the aspect, that aspect itself struck my chords of gratitude, patience, accepting failure, having fake and trust and divine guidance. Let's come to Cancun, Mexico, and see what made it memorable. Hospitality at Widanta restaurant, from checking to checkout, was remarkable. The ever smiling, courteous, and helpful stuff made a beautiful carring in my heart.

We were pampered by the golf cart stuff while gracefully transporting from, transporting us from beautiful locations such as hotel, spa, beach, entertainment hall, and walking trails. Every night we were blessed to enjoy watching dance performances after having a delicious dinner. Our eyes were nurtured and enriched by beautiful aquamarine blue beach water. The sun rise greeting us in the morning and the sun sets smiling to say goodbye after spending so much energy shining all day long.

The beautiful animal towel decoration and the romantic room degradations in the check-in and checkout days, on the check-in and checkout days in Widanta restaurant spoke volumes about the sincere and affectionate efforts put in by the resort stuff. I can go on and on and on, and now I need to open my mental log box to go ahead with a prompt for day 28, see you there.
