Scripture  Proverbs 3:5–8 (NRSV)  Trust in the Lord with all your heart,  and do not rely on your own insight.  In all your ways acknowledge Him,  and He will make straight your paths.  Do not be wise in your own eyes;  fear the Lord, and turn away from evil.  It will be a healing for your flesh  and a refreshment for your body.Refrain  I do not have to understand, I only need to remain.Quote  St. John of the Cross  “To come to union with the Beloved,  seek not pleasure in anything created,  but only in the Beloved who is hidden within you.  The soul that is attached to anything,  however much good there may be in it,  will not arrive at the liberty of divine union.” Hosted on Acast.
