As a bonus she is wife to Alvin Chase, Sr., mother to Preston, Alvin Chase, Jr. (AJ) and Desmond. Born in the deepest parts of the South, Nita grew up in Clarksdale, Mississippi. As a child Nita’s writing took form, but the message met the carrier far too soon. Later she realized her gift to express her relationship with God, man, life and love.She is an award-winning Poet and has performed at Nuyorican Café, New York City, New York, hosted numerous poetry events, and is a published author. Her latest poetry book “Passion Speaks” can be found on Amazon, Barnes & Noble’s, Books A Million and Good Reads.She is the Founder of Let’s PO-ET (Pour Out Empowerment Together) and hosts Let's PO-ET Facebook live and on Clubhouse. As a Poet Nita delivers messages of hope, love, and laughter. Nita has played an instrumental role in the spoken word culture.She has produced, directed, and acted in church dramas and stage plays. She played The Lady in Blue in “For Colored Girls”, and Madea in “The Colored Museum”. Recently Nita was featured in KKonnections Testimony Magazine and was the cover of JESUSgirl ENT Magazine. Nita can be found in courtrooms serving as Family Master Judge. She is co-owner of Chase Chase & Associates, PLLC. She is a United States Air-force veteran. 🇺🇸✈️🙏🏾🙌🏾Nita serves her church, Victory International Christian Center.In all she does there is one common thread amongst the chord, passion.
