i prayed for a boat but God gave me a bridge

This is volume 2 of my Anthology Series where I share faith-inspired poetry. Today's episode explores the phenomenon of the fluctuating feelings of uncertainty and anticipation we all feel in approach and arrival into a New Year. Carefully illustrated by a metaphor of crossing a river, I dive deep into the experience of how God guides our journeys in different ways than we expect, that may differ from our initial plan or vision all while getting us across the river of time.
