For our second episode, we were joined by Odunayo Ojo also know as the Fashion Roadman, a YouTuber, journalist and founder of magazine, The Fashion Archive. Ayo is most known for his YouTube channel, The Fashion Archive, a channel he has been running since 2018 where he uploads educational and opinionated videos about past and present fashion topics. Ayo’s consistency and ability to share his Knowledge has led to his audience growing to close to 90,000 subscribers. Ayo is also a journalist having written for publications such as the Business of Fashion and Mr.Porter all whilst studying a Fashion Journalism degree at Central Saint Martins. Ayo is also the owner of his own fashion magazine, The Fashion Archive, a digital and print publication that he publishes annually.In this conversation we discussed Ayo’s unique entry into fashion, his inspirations and given the expertise he’s built up I made sure to pick his brain on what he thinks it takes for up and coming brands to be successful. Since we spoke Ayo has continued to edify his audience with his content, he recently dropped an E-book teaching effective ways to learn about fashion, you know I had to buy that haha!
