How did a beautiful young girl go from living in a shack to being inspired so much by an orchestra she heard in high school, that not only was she inspired to started singing, but she moved to NYC and changed her name, the rest is history. Shut out from a sexist racist male dominated business, she wrote over 850 songs and jingles for over 350 artist, never getting her proper pay nor credit in history.
