"All leaders lead by example." John C. Maxwell's quote reminds us why the qualifications for office in Christ's church are primarily character qualities. The congregation will follow it's leaders, not only in administrative decisions, but also in Christian character. We are all called to be exemplary Christians, but it is a requirement for those who will serve as offices in the church.
