I don't want an office job or to work in industry White or blue collars aren't for me Got to do something, Yeah I suppose So here goes I wanna be a Jedi Fly through the universe and save the galaxy That's the kind of work that would suit me No-one to tell you that your best's not good enough No clocking on, no clocking off I don't want to settle down with a girl next door type Lead a semi-detached kind of life I want a queen for a princess nothing less I wanna be a Jedi Leap like an acrobat across chasms of self doubt That's got to be the best way out Free to be who I want to be not trapped by who I am No fringe benefits no pension plan Tinker, tailor, soldier, sailor Traffic warden, Jedi Knight Bus conductor, driving instructor, Sleeping policeman, Jedi Knight Maybe I'll get up or maybe I'll stay in bed, Be like Ballistic Squid instead I wanna be a Jedi
