*I Wanna Reach Out And Touch The Flame*

We’re back on the albums again! Part Eight, 230-221. This week features The Supremes, The Avalanches, U2 and seven other artists to continue this massive undertaking. Hmm, who else could there be? ;) BUCKLE UP this one is a fast ride. We also encounter, for only the second time so far, an album that I had to put an asterisk on :/ There was SO MUCH to say about these 10 that I purposely excised Poetry Time, but I still want to share the one that I selected (it’s untitled): ____________________________ cliffside daisies swing from a pinch of dirt: hold on, hold on, my heart says by Joseph Hutchison _____________________________ - Oh it’s a major endeavor, alright. I’m going to try to listen to at least 10 albums a week for the rest of the year! Yeah, I’m not joking. Media, art, and entertainment publication Paste Magazine came out with a list of the 300 best albums and we’re going to go through them all! Well, I’m going to. And then we’re going to talk about it! Great tracks, themes, history, info, related artists, cultural context, personal experiences- they’re all going to play a part in these reviews. Totally stoked because I love music. (And a little intimidated! Because this is a lot to process) - If we keep up with an episode per week featuring 10 albums each, we’ll just about finish by the end of 2024. We’re doing this! Yay!!
