I Want to Fly Like Superman-in The American Way
from BH Sales Kennel Kelp Holistic Healing Hour · host Grandpa Bill
Grandpa Bill today explore The American Way & Superman! Sure, here is an expansion upon why we have eliminated the words "The American Way" from our vocabulary, along with some hashtags and titles: The Evolving American Way: From Superman to a More Inclusive Society The phrase "The American Way" was once a ubiquitous term, evoking images of freedom, democracy, and prosperity. However, in recent decades, the term has fallen out of favor, largely due to its perceived exclusiveness and its association with a bygone era of American exceptionalism. The original concept of "The American Way" was rooted in the ideals of the American Dream – the belief that anyone, regardless of their background, can achieve success through hard work and determination. This concept was epitomized by Superman, the iconic superhero who embodied the values of truth, justice, and the American way. However, over time, the term "The American Way" became associated with a more narrow and exclusionary view of American society. It was often used to promote a specific set of values and beliefs. The term "The American Way" has gradually faded from common usage. While the ideals of truth, justice, and freedom remain central to the American identity, that has changed. #EvolvingAmericanWay,#InclusiveSociety, #TruthAndJustice, #AmericanValues, #SupermanLegacy, The American Way is based on the ideals of freedom, democracy, and opportunity. These are ideals that are worth celebrating, and they have had a positive impact on the world. The American Way is not perfect, but it is constantly evolving. We have made progress on issues such as civil rights and women's rights, and we can continue to make progress in the future, if we wake UP!. The American Way is becoming monolithic. There is a diversity of opinion and belief in the United States, and this diversity WAS one of our strengths. The American Way is a political agenda. It is a set of ideals that are shared by people of all political stripes. Of course, there are also some challenges associated with "The American Way": The American Way has sometimes been used to justify inequality and oppression. For example, slavery and Jim Crow laws were both justified in the name of "The American Way". The American Way in the past has sometimes been used to promote American exceptionalism. This can lead to a sense of arrogance and a belief that the United States is superior to other countries. The American Way is not always lived up to. There is a gap between the ideals of "The American Way" and the reality of life in the United States. For example, many Americans do not have access to quality healthcare or education. I think it is important to distinguish between being proud of your country and MAYBE NOT be proud of everything that has been done in your country's name. I am proud to be an American, but I am not proud of everything that has been done in the name of the United States. I also think it is important to acknowledge the contributions of other countries to the world. The United States is not the only country with a history of innovation and progress. Finally, I think it is important to remember that we are all human beings. We share more in common than we have differences. We DO NOT need to be more critical of the way that the phrase "The American Way" is used. We need to EXPLORE who is using the phrase, what are they trying to achieve, and are they using it in a way that is inclusive and just? We need to promote a more inclusive definition of what it means to be an American. This definition should include people of all backgrounds, cultures, and beliefs and established PEACEFULLY not via an agenda driven anarcial faction. We need to work together to create a more just and equitable society. This means addressing issues such as poverty, discrimination, and inequality-PEACEFULLY. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/bhsales/message Powered by Firstory Hosting
