from Let Fear Bounce - Tossing out nuggets of hope · host Host Kim Lengling
Nisha's Nugget of Hope: We are all stronger than we think." Nisha Lehmann is a mobile designer / UX contributor by day, but by night, she explores her passion for providing new and creative ways to promote better mental health. To that end, she has developed an App that addresses the gaping holes that exist in the current mental health process. Having dealt with her own mental health issues during her career, she witnessed first hand the stigma that accompanies poor mental health and how this can further detriment one's current situation. Everyone deserves a safe space to be able to share their experiences without judgment and learn from others who are experiencing the same thing to try and better themselves or at least assess whether they need professional help on their own terms. Nisha hopes, with her app, confidconvos.com, that this app will accomplish some of that. She hopes to create a global community where those with mental health issues can meet, share and learn.
