from Let Fear Bounce - Tossing out nuggets of hope · host Host Kim Lengling
A great conversation that took a turn down a path we weren't expecting. But aren't those the best kind of conversations? BIO Joel is an award-winning former journalist, columnist, and public relations professional. He is currently responsible for leading an economic development agency that serves Northern British Columbia. When not working, he can be found writing fiction or exploring the province’s vast untamed wilderness. His most recent short story, Number Hunnerd, was published in Tyche Books’ anthology Water: Selkies, Sirens and Sea Monsters. His novella, Wolf at the Door, which focuses on a family Thanksgiving dinner gone horribly wrong, was published in June 2022. His western horror short Hands is due out in an anthology from Brigids Gate Press later this summer. Joel calls Prince George home, where he lives with his wife and two daughters. Joel's latest book available here - Wolf at the Door is a fast-paced, absurdist take on modern creature horror, levering humor and action to highlight how one family comes to grips with what really matters in life.
