Faith comes through hearing the word of God. In our attempt to live principled lives we may need to discover that some principles that we think came from God may not be things he actually said. So not only do we need to hear the word of God, we need to hear it correctly. We may need to ask ourselves, “Does God really say that?” and be able to admit that He doesn’t.
