Ian Hendry's Sentence Delayed Again | Belfast News

Fifty-four-year-old Ian Hendry, convicted of a horrific 35-year pattern of rape and physical abuse against women—including weapon threats—faces yet another sentencing delay. Also found guilty of brutal animal cruelty, including punching, kicking, and suffocating dogs, Hendry’s case hinges on a new risk assessment amid ongoing disputes between Crown and defense psychiatrists. Originally slated for this past Wednesday, the hearing is now pushed to November 10th as courts prioritize public safety in determining his sentence.
