They discuss Willie Weeks’s bass playing, Steve Gadd’s drumming, Robyn, Madison Cunningham, and Vanilla Ice’s second act.  Ian Martin Allison is a versatile electric bass player who has worked as a session and touring musician with a diverse group of artists, including Eric Hutchinson, Cory Wong, Gavin DeGraw, Dessa, and Jeremy Messersmith. He is well-known for making and sharing videos online, has built a large bass community on Instagram, and is the Chief Creative Content Officer of ScottsBassLessons.com. Zach Miller is an educator, performer, and composer. Since receiving a degree in percussion from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities in 2000, he has been teaching as an adjunct professor at various universities. As a performer, Zach tours nationally with recording artists Eric Hutchinson and Sara Groves. His solo album, Auburn Heights, features soundscape-filled cinematic instrumental compositions that utilize complex rhythms and harmonies, and his book SYNCO is a collection of demanding drum set independence concepts and advanced rhythmic concepts.
