Ian Somerhalder on Producing Kiss The Ground, Climate Change, and The Launch of Brothers Bond

Although you may know Ian Somerhalder as Damon Salvatore from Vampire Diaries or Boone from Lost, he’s actually embarking on his most passionate endeavors to date as an environmentalist and humanitarian. He executive produced the environmental documentary KISS THE GROUND, which landed on Netflix in September 2020, and focuses on raising awareness and education on the positive impacts of regenerative farming for climate change. And just this weekend, he launched Brothers Bond, a bourbon company, with Vampire Diaries co-star Paul Wesley as an ode to their bourbon drinking days on the show. The company did a pre-sale which shattered records and a portion of the proceeds will go toward regenerative farming practices and combating climate change.
