Ian Wogan - Finding Purpose in Nature: Guided by Trees and the Mission of Sustainability and Green Infrastructure

from going out | looking in · host Maximilian Bartel

Hey everyone, the last episode of 2023 is here - and it is a SPECIAL one. I'm speaking with Ian Wogan from Treesources. Ian and I initially met at Sacred Sons Convergence 8 in Los Angeles and reconnected in Miami when I visited him and his family for a couple of days during my trip. Ian is an arborist, entrepreneur, father, devoted husband, and environmentalist. His life's work is dedicated to the protection, conservation, and stewardship of nature and landscapes within urban environments. Treesources stemmed out of the need to responsibly grow and incorporate our ecological resources within our ever-changing modern environment. Ian's team consists of conservationists, scientists, arborists, and designers. Ian had an immensely valuable and a deep effect on me and my personal development. His devotion, dedication, sincerity, and integrity are traits and values that I got to deeply admire and respect. I've learned so much about life, decision-making, fatherhood, responsibility, integrity, authenticity, nature, trees, and our ecosystem from Ian that I'm certain you'll get a lot out of this episode. That being said, THANK YOU ALL so much for your amazing support throughout my first year of podcasting. It has been an honor to serve all of you in this way and through these conversations. I'll work even harder in 2024 to deliver the best work and content for you to enjoy and get inspired by. Much love. 👉 We explored a broad variety of topics such as: - The origin, mission, and vision of Treesources: A green infrastructure company - How to navigate the challenging process of aligned decision-making (in private and business) - Advice on wearing multiple hats in life and how to stay present to who you are throughout - Current challenges in the fields of sustainability and environmental protection - The gift of rejection, struggle, and pain 🎧 PODCAST: ▶️ Website ▶️ Spotify ▶️ Apple Podcasts ▶️ Google Podcasts ▶️ Amazon Podcasts 🔗 MY GUEST: ▶️ Treesources ▶️ Instagram ▶️ Sacred Sons Interview with Ian ▶️ Sacred Sons 🙋‍♂️ MY STUFF: ▶️ Website ▶️ My creative agency ▶️ Instagram ▶️ LinkedIn ▶️ Michael Singer Weekly Talks ▶️ Michael Singer Podcast ▶️ Waking Up App (free month) ▶️ My book recommendations 📩 CONTACT: [email protected]
